Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. It is an Islamic duty for every Muslim to pay a donation of their wealth to the Muslim community in need around the world. Providing much-needed charity relief through Zakat Al Maal payments to be paid by Muslims donating a minimum of 2.5% of their wealth.
Through our appeals, we help many people who are eligible to receive Zakat in Indonesia, Australia, Lebanon and the Philippines. Zakat Al-Fitr amount is $10 per person. Before the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the end of Ramadan, every adult Muslim must pay their Zakat Al Fitr.
